Soap and Glory makes a delightful line of lip plumping glosses that I've fallen in love with. I came across a set while shopping at Sephora for something completely different (isn't that always the story?). It called my name as I was walking past it and making my way to the register.
"Heeeey KB"...it whispered.
I looked over my shoulder and there it was, in its pretty packaging, batting its eyelashes at me and begging to be bought...and I did.
Sure, it was an impulse purchase - totally worth it.
The trio came in three gorgeous shades of their best-selling Super-Colour Sexy Mother Pucker™ Lip Plumping Gloss: Candy Gloss, Punch Bowl and Half Naked. It was hard to choose which I wanted to try on first. I gave Candy Gloss a try. My lips immediately tingled which lasted maybe a couple of minutes, if that. The sensation I felt came from their LIPSWELL™ natural plant oil infusion, their patented lip plumping ingredient that gives that luscious, fuller appearance and feel. It goes on a little thick at first but it is not sticky and you won't find yourself having to touch up too often.
The one that has gotten the most use is Half Naked. This shade is just a slight hue above my natural lip color, it adds just a bit of "oomph" to my everyday natural look.

A couple of days ago I applied this and it lasted all the way to lunch time without reapplying. That's the equivalent of 24 oz of water, a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich later. How's that for staying power?!
OOOOH, one thing I almost forgot to mention...each gloss has their own scent and flavor. Half Naked smells like buttered popcorn (but tastes more like kettle corn, imo), Candy Gloss smells and tastes like vanilla and Punch Bowl like raspberry chocolate.
The folks over at Soap and Glory did an excellent job with this collection, I highly recommend it! It is currently one of my staples in my makeup bag.
