Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie!




If you're looking for a powerhouse, chocolate wonder smoothie, then we have just the recipe for you.  This smoothie is obviously one of our more versatile given that you can have it for breakfast, pre- or post work, or even as a treat at the end of a long day and it won't mess up your clean eating efforts.

Ingredients

-2 tablespoons cocoa powder
-3 tablespoons peanut butter (instead, you can use a powdered peanut butter like PB2 and reduce fat and calories OR you can use another source such as almond butter or even a seed butter like sunflower)
-1 cup milk (whole milk, almond, soy or coconut)
-1 frozen banana, pre-sliced
-1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, fat-free.
-2 tablespoons honey or organic raw sugar.
-1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
-Ice to your liking

Directions:

Put all ingredients into blender until well combined.  Pour.  Drink.  Be happy all day long.  :)
